Scope and Contents This file is about the archaeological expeditions in Libya, particularly in the regions of Tripolitania and Cyrenaica. Much of it focuses on the archaeological excavations conducted in Libya between 1948 and 1951, particularly in Sabratha and Lepcis Magna, which various British learned institutions and societies supported financially and logistically.
