Scope and Contents
Contains lantern slides arranged in numerical order from C.07585 to C.07608 and unnumbered slides 01 to 37. Subjects include the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, the Etruscan tombs in Cerveteri, as well as the Etruscan gate in Perugia. Reproductions of drawings and maps created by archaeologist and topographer Rodolfo Lanciani and sculptures in the Vatican Palace. Images of various places in Abruzzo (L'Aquila, Cocullo, Pescorocchiano), in Lazio (Astura, Circeo, Nemi Lake) and in Campania (Abella, Capua) are also included in this set.
