Contains lantern slides arranged in numerical order from C.02913 to C.07584. Subjects include building structures, archaeological sites in North Africa - Sétif, Tazoult-Lambése, Tébessa and Thamugadi (Algeria), Cyrene, Lepcis Magna and Sabratha (Libya) - churches in Catania, Monreale and Palermo, Messina and Taormina. Temples in Sicily (Agrigento, Segesta, Selinus, Syracuse), in Basilicata (Metapontum, Tavole Palatine) and Paestum. The archaeological sites of Ostia, Pompeii and Herculaneum, as well as images of Vesuvius in eruption and Mount Etna from the sea are also included in this set.
