Scope and Contents
Contains lantern slides arranged in numerical order from B.05435 to B.07026. Subjects include building structures, roman roads in the Campagna di Roma and archaeological sites in North Africa - Thamugadi (Algeria), Carthage and Thugga (Tunisia), - the Roman Forum and architectural remains and monuments from other locations in Rome, including the Palatine Hill, the Colosseum, the Trajan's Column, the Ara Pacis and the Mausoleum of Augustus. The archaeological sites of Ostia and Herculaneum, as well as various landscape photographs of places in the Balkan Peninsula (Split, Croatia) and Italy (Ancona, Capri, Cori, Falerii Novi, Gabii, Monte Cavo, Nemi, Sutri, Tivoli, Vesuvius) are also included in this set.
