Scope and Contents
Contains lantern slides arranged in numerical order from B.00151 to B.00528. Subjects include aqueducts and building structures, and Roman roads. The Hadrian's Villa at Tivoli and the Amalfi coast in the Campania region are also documented together with images of ancient monuments and architectural remains in Sutri, Tusculum, Palestrina, Assisi, Chiusi, Gubbio (Umbria) and Fiesole (Tuscany). Images of Rome, the Roman Forum, some of its significant monuments, and archaeological sites such as Falerii Novi are also included in this set.
