Letter to Edgar Forsdyke , 1920 November 2

 Item

Scope and Contents

A particularly revealing letter which strongly sets the case for a permanently appointed librarian, with an appropriate salary (incl. a list of candadites, of whom Miss Wilkinson is the preferred choice), in order to alleviate the workloads of both Ashby and Strong. Also, Strong raises the question of summer leave in order to carry out research and visit museums across the Mediterranean.
