A particular focus is given to archival holdings relating to former award-holders and their different roles throughout their association with the BSR and its wide community. This rich documentation shows the groundbreaking impact the BSR has generated on generations of academic, researchers, artists and architects as well as on British research worldwide.

This archive includes Eugénie Sellers Strong's academic and personal correspondence, cartes de visite, personal and biographical materials, catalogues, working papers, publications alongside an extensive collection of photographic prints and postcards.

Thomas Ashby's manuscript and typewritten notes and notebooks on archaeological and topographical subjects. Notes on various manuscipt collections are also present, including Asnby's research on the dal Pozzo-Albani drawing collection at Windsor Castle.
