Rome Scholars, Students and Studentships advertising, 1928 - 1960, 1945 - 1952
Scope and Contents
This sub-series documents everything that concerns the BSR scholars' life and community, focusing on practicalities and activities run throughout their scholarships, including the organisation of joint Art Exhibitions and the exportation of artworks. Some documents, including forms, correspondence, and reports, might be found in the relevant scholar's file in the sub-fond 'Awards and Funding Bodies records' under the scholar's name. Records from this sub-group also include times of meals, charges and management of the Common Room, now known as Dining Room. Lists of pre-war students and general correspondence with former students with testimonials regarding their stay at the BSR are also present, together with scholarship leaflets, newspaper cuttings and advertisements about the awards offered at the BSR. A large file regarding students accredited at the BSR who were holders of awards falling outside the management of the BSR Faculties is also part of this sub-group.
