Grey sheets. Correspondence
Scope and Contents
This file includes correspondence between the Director, the Honorary General Secretary of the British School at Rome, and other officers and secretaries. The subject matter is primarily concerned with monthly expense updates, with reference to the budget assigned. The 'Grey Sheet' can be compared to a transaction list reporting the expenditures incurred in a given period of time. The folders, which are numbered from 1 to 6, are titled:
- "Grey Sheet, 1945-1947".
- "Grey Sheet, 1947-1948".
- "Grey Sheet, 1948-1949".
- "Grey Sheet, 1950-1951".
- "Grey Sheet, 1951-1952".
