Scope and Contents

From the Series:

The Roman Society used film negatives to produce photographic prints and were made available to members for loan or purchase. They were also used to produce glass negatives and lantern slides. The Roman Society's register of negatives, in addition to the printed catalog published annually in the Journal of Roman Studies, listed which images were available. Members also donated their film negatives for use by the Society and partner institutions.
