Scope and Contents
Lantern slide collection used in teaching and research.
Contains unnumbered slides 38 to 154 and slides without a series number. Also contains two slides presented by the British School at Athens. Subjects include sculptures in the Musei capitolini and Vatican Palace, archaeological sites in North Africa, the Roman Forum, the Caffarelli gardens and the Baths of Caracalla, Ostia and Paestum, archaeological and architectural remains in Rome. Reproductions of drawings and maps created by archaeologist and topographer Rodolfo Lanciani, and images of various places in Lazio (Astura, Circeo, Terracina) are also included in this set.
