Contains lantern slides arranged in numerical order from B.05011 to B.05434. Subjects include building structures, archaeological sites in North Africa - Djemila, Tébessa and Tipasa (Algeria), Volubilis (Morocco), Subaytilah and Thugga (Tunisia), Tripoli, Sabratha and Lepcis Magna (Libya) - the Roman Forum and architectural remains and monuments from other locations in Rome, including the Palatine Hill and the Colosseum. The archaeological sites of Ostia, Cumae, Herculaneum and Pompeii, as well as various landscape photographs of places around Italy (Hadrian's Villa in Tivoli, Lake of Nemi, Mantua, Vesuvius), are also included in this set.
