Documents from this file include: invitation letter by Evelyn Shaw (BSR Honorary General Secretary) to join the Faculty of Architecture as ex-officio member, in his position of Chairman of the Examinations Committee of the Royal Institute of British Architects (R.I.B.A.); correspondence with Shaw about meetings (mostly apologies for not attendance); letter by Shaw detailing the financial support of R.I.B.A. to BSR activities, over the pre-war decades. The original cover of the file (hereby included) is a recycled four-sided document of BSR, titled “Rome Scholarship in Architecture, 1947, Instructions to candidates”.
