Documents from this file include: invitation letter by Evelyn Shaw (BSR Honorary General Secretary) to take part in the activities of the Faculty of Architecture, pending the formal appointment; letter of acceptance by Fletcher; copies of the resolutions by the Council of the Royal Institute of British Architects concerning the Rome scholarship in architecture, dated 1929; correspondence with Shaw concerning meetings, wording of memoranda for students; correspondence with W.D. Sturch (BSR Honorary General Secretary) about the resuming of membership in the Faculty after World War II. The file includes the Obituaries of Fletcher, published in «The Times» and in «The Architect and Building News» in August 1953. The original cover of the file (hereby included) is a recycled four-sided document of BSR, titled “Rome Scholarship in Architecture, 1940 – Instructions to Candidates”.
