Documents from this file include: invitation letter by W.D. Sturch (BSR Honorary General Secretary) to join the Faculty of Architecture as Chairman of the Examinations Committee of the Board of Architectural Education of the Royal Institute of British Architects; letter of acceptance by Enthoven; correspondence with C. A. H. James (BSR Honorary General Secretary), concerning meetings, minutes, applications, candidates, and a report on a visit to the BSR; two detailed notes (one unsigned and undated, possibly by Enthoven’s niece, the second by S. Welsh and R. A. Cordingley, dated June 1958), both addressing the crisis in participation to scholarship in Rome and suggesting remedies. The file includes the Obituary of Enthoven, published in The Times in December 1985, as well as handwritten notes by the Honorary General Secretary, BSR, in preparation of a commemoration of Enthoven membership. The original cover of the file (hereby included) is a recycled four-sided document of BSR, titled “Rome Scholarship and Abbey Major Scholarship in Painting, 1986”.
