Documents from this file include: correspondence with W. D. Sturch (BSR Honorary General Secretary) concerning meetings and minutes of meetings; correspondence concerning a visit of Briggs to the BSR. The file includes also a promotional specimen of the book by Briggs “In the Heel of Italy. A Study of an Unknown City”, first published in London in 1910; and an article by Briggs “Rome as a Walled City”, published in «Town and Country Planning» in 1957. The original cover of the file (hereby included) is a recycled four-sided document of BSR, titled “Rome Scholarship in Architecture, 1947 – Instructions to Candidates”.
