Scope and Contents
This sub-series comprises 14 boxes of photographs and prints depicting or relating to regions in Italy and across Europe (including France, Turkey, Croatia and Libya). The images primarily depict architecture and specific architectural features, landscapes, built heritage, and art (especially in the boxes relating to Puglia). Boxes ES-PH/03/01 - ES-PH/03/05 depict architecture and landscape across Italy and Europe; boxes ES-PH/03/06 - ES-PH/03/10 depict specific regions of Italy; box ES-PH/03/11 depicts Britain; box ES-PH/03/12 depicts countries and places in the Mediterranean; and boxes ES-PH/03/13 - ES-PH/03/14 depict towns and villages in Puglia, Italy.

This sub-series is arranged alphabetically by place in Italy and Europe (ES-PH/03/01 - ES-PH/03/05), then by region in Italy only (ES-PH/03/06 - ES-PH/03/10), then in the UK (ES-PH/03/11), then by country/place in the Mediterranean (ES-PH/03/12), and finally by town/village in Puglia, Italy (ES-PH/03/13 - ES-PH/03/14).

Custodial History
The images in ES-PH/03/01 - ES-PH/03/05 were originally dispersed in 15 boxes, until an older catalogue [by ES herself] was found and the original order of these images was thereafter reconstructed.
