Abstract

The Air Photograph Collection, known as RAF Collection, is now deposited at the Istituto Centrale per il Catalogo e la Documentazione (ICCD), Aerofototeca Nazionale.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of the personal papers and photographs of historian and archaeologist Russell Meiggs. The papers include letters, other types of correspondence, and autograph copies of lectures on Pompeii and other archaeological subjects. There are also manuscript copies of publications by Meiggs, including his manuscript (typescript draft) on Roman Ostia, published in 1960, with annotations.
