Biography/Historical Note
Painter, etcher and engraver, born in Smarts Heath, Woking. Studied at the Royal College of Art before winning the Rome Scholarship in Engraving at the British School, 1933-35. During this, Beach travelled extensivey throughout Italy, develping an affinity with and interest in representing natural landscapes.
