Biography/Historical Note
British printmaker, born in Romford, Essex. Studied at the Camberwell School of Art before moving to the Royal College of Art. Rome Scholar in Engraving at the British School between 1928 and 1930. After he moved back to England, Jones taught at the Sheffield College of Art for many years, where he was fondly known for his teaching.
