Building and Site records
This sub-fond includes records concerning the construction of the building in Valle Giulia initiated in 1911 (minutes, correspondence, plans, records relating to contractors). Documentation on subsequent changes occurred to the building, including the erection of the East Wing, and on major restoration works carried out throughout the years until the present time is also preserved together with drawings and plans.

This small but important collection documents places and events in the Middle East (Palestine and Sinai) and Italy during the First World War. The photos were taken by Francis Rennel Rodd (1895-1978), son to Sir James Rennel Rodd, patron of the BSR and former British Ambassador in Rome (1908-1919).
