This series comprises the BSR's collection of John Bradford’s Neolithic and Chalcolithic survey evidence of the Tavoliere. This includes a map, negatives, negative indexes, and some photograph prints. NB: Handwritten negative indexes correspond to typed negative indexes according to extant or developed prints. E.g. Film 1 handwritten numbers 14-32 correspond to typed numbers 1-19. Sign ‘No.’ (shorthand for ‘Number’) probably identifies site-number, for example, on printed negative index of Film 1, ‘1 – 3004 – No.204’ gives ‘Index number – negative number – site number.’ Pictures are almost certainly of the areas sketched of the Tavoliere sites identified in Bradford, Williams-Hunt ‘Siticulosa Apulia’, 1946. Prints mostly unpublished, although copied elsewhere.
