Documents from this file include: correspondence between the scholar and K. M. Stedman (Secretary of FAHL); application form; one photograph. In the academic year 1978-1979 the project was carried out jointly with Bryan Ward-Perkins and concerned the study and preparation of a complete graphic and photographic record of the only surviving length of the Leonine Wall, erected in 846-7 CE to protect St. Peter's and the Vatican.
