This collection is arranged topographycally by place name but some cards are misplaced; 2025-1/15 (box): copies of printed articles, essays, reviews by WP's and newspaper cuttings arranged in chronological order (1947-1977), including a special edition on the Pompeii AD79 Exhibition (Evening Standard, November 1976); 2025-1/16 (box): Times Literary Supplement Reviews (1960-1973), newspaper cuttings glued on cards; extract of artcles and essays published on various journals, newspapers and magazines, including 'Antiquity', 'Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians', 'Harvard Studies in Classical Philology', 'The Time', 'The Illustrated London News', etc. (1937-1971); various newspaper articles and opuscula (1944-1973); 2025-1/17 (case): Serena medal, awarded in 1962; 2025-1/18 (loose materials): various diplomas of honours, 5 in total, from the German Archaeological Institute, Premio Cultori di Roma, Pontificia Accademia Romana di Archeologia, Università di Alberta and Presidente della Repubblica Italiana; 2025-1/19 (loose materials): 1 photograph depicting Hugh Last and Jocelyn Toynbee (Christmas 1946).
